Mr. Alexander Chinedu Ekwesi-Tasie, popularly called Alexbritish Chinedu Ekwesi-Tasie is a Nigerian writer and historian who hails from Nkarahia village in Isiokpo community, Ikwerre land, Rivers State of Nigeria, West Africa. Alexbritish Chinedu Ekwesi-Tasie was born on the day of December, 24 in the year of 1971 to the late Elder Godson Azubuike Ekwesi Tasie who is his father and Madam Chinerezi Florence Tasie, who is his mother. His father, a well-recognized Ikwerre traditional hunter hailed from Nkarahia village in Isiokpo community and his mother hails from Umuokwanoro, Obeakpu, Umunoha, Mbaitolu Local Government Area of Imo State. Mr. Alexbritish Chinedu Ekwesi-Tasie was born into a very lowly family and suffered many setbacks in life because of his family background.
